MIG-25 'Foxbat' jetflight - to the 'Edge of Space'

Soar to heaven and beyond

MIG 25 'Foxbat C' PU When Icarus gazed into the heavens and set forth his plan to reach them in flight, the wise words of his father, "Icarus, my son, I charge you to keep at a moderate height,” would have been unnecessary if he’d had a MiG – 25… and our wings won’t melt!!

Built around massive Tumansky turbojets, the MiG – 25 Foxbat, with its nearly 46-foot wingspan, is capable of catapulting off the runway and climbing 65,000 feet into the air in less than nine minutes! Now, picture yourself in the cockpit of this high-speed interceptor on your way to the “Top of the World!”

Your adventure begins when you fasten yourself into your own cockpit of the two-seater MiG – 25 and you taxi onto the runway. You blast off at an amazing 238 mile per hour, and within minutes, you burst through the clouds and head for the heavens. As your highly-skilled pilot eases the enormous turbine engines into maximum power, you are miles above the earth and then you break through the sound barrier!

Now, higher than any other humans, except for the crew members of the International Space Station - who are a mere 217 miles above you – your pilot shows you the true capabilities of the graceful beast that cradles you. You’ll experience thrilling maneuvers like barrel roles and parabolas. When the afterburners are ignited, the aircraft is now traveling at Mach 2 and you’re headed towards the stratosphere!

The Earth appears serene and unreal almost 10 miles below, and above you you’re surrounded by stars. No passenger jet could ever reach such heights. You have, “Slipped the surely bounds of earth and touched the face of God.” You are at the edge of the universe!

Your trained and experienced pilot then puts the aircraft into a steep Mach 2.6 curve; you experience 2 to 4 G’s of force, and before you know it you’re almost 16 miles above the earth and you can see what Galileo only guessed… the curve of the Big Blue Marble is before you! During the winter months, between November and March, the MiG – 25 is capable of reaching even greater heights… altitudes of 16 to 20 miles! Are you brave enough to dare your pilot to, “Go for it?”

Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance for the high-altitude flight that will put you among the stars!!
