News 2008

18.04.2008: New schedules for our Zero-G flights in USA. From May up to the end of September of this year, you will find a lot of dates in serveral city's inside of USA, where you can have the experience of weightlessness also as in Russia. The absolut highlight will be on August 17th: on board you will be attained from Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin, the second man on the moon of the legendary Apollo 11 team. This date will be a very special date, and if you want to take part on this flight, do not hesitate to contact us for details and price schedules, seat space is strongly reserved. More ...

14.04.2008: During our last tour to the liftoff of the Soyuz TMA-12 mission to the International Space Station ISS, our customer headed with us to Baikonur and were touched with human spaceflight in reality. During the 8 days tour they saw the famous Star City nearby Moscow with the training facilities of the Yuri A. Gagarin Training Centre (GCTC), the Gagarin Museum there, before they flown with us to Baikonur. There, they saw the rollout of the mounted Soyuz rocket on a train, the errection of the rocket on the Gagarinsky Launchpad. They take apart at the press conferences of the primary and the secondary crew of Soyuz TMA-12, saw the giant launch pads of the Energia rocket and the space shuttle Buran. They conquered Baikonur in a international group, and the climax: in a distance of 2 kilometers they watched the liftoff of the Soyuz rocket, as it blasted into space to touch the International Space Station ISS two days later. Back in Moscow, they visited the Energia museum and stood beside the original Wostok descent capsule of Yuri Gagarin, and saw at the Mission Control Centre (MCC) at Koroljov the docking of the Soyuz TMA-12 mission live on big TV screen. People were astonished about, how near they came at the Soyuz and about the space history, that the Russians are writing since the launch of the first artificial satellite Sputnik in 1957. The next Soyuz launch is settled up for October 12th, and if you want to go on a very special journey of your lifetime, contact us and head with us in October of this year also to Baikonur, to watch the next (and maybe the last) space tourist Owen Garriot, who will fly on the 100st Soyuz mission to the International Space Station! 21.11.2007: We are glad to offer now also our foreign customers the program "L-39 Jet Pilot Training" in Germany in the Eifel. You will have the possiblity to train like a jet-pilot, and if you will have successful test, you can receive the permission to participate on a free-flight with the worlds famoust trainer jets, the L-39 'Albatros'. Flights will have a take off in Germany and you will cruise with this jet in the heaven of Luxembourg. Take this chance to be one of the first free-flyers inside a jet-aircraft over Central Europe! 05.11.2007: In September 2007 Joe Golightly, a citizen of the Faroer Islands done a trip of his lifetime: during a 8-day special journey he followed the steps of Juri Gagarin trought the Russian aviation- and spacehistory. The climax of the voyage: A flight with the MiG-31 'Foxhound" nearby the "Edge of Space". 31.10.2007: The Rocketplane XP has a new airframe design! During the XPrize Cup from October 26th to 28th, Rocketplane Global Inc. presented the new airframe design of the Rocketplane XP first time to public. The design was developed from the engineer and industrial designer Frank Nuovo. Now, the Rocketplane XP has more space inside, 5 passengers and a pilot can reach the suborbital altitude of 330.000 ft. 08.10.2007: Space Travellers International will be a exhibitor and present our space & flight adventure tours and our services on the "Millionaire Expo 2007" at the "Royal Siam Paragon Hall" at Bangkok, Thailand. 27.09.2007: The first Soyuz flight in 2008 is announced. The Soyuz TMA-12 liftoff to the International Space Station ISS will be on April 8th 2008 from the Russian cosmodrome at Baykonur. Our fantastic voyage on the roots of Sergei Koroljov and Yuri A. Gagarin will start on April 3rd 2008. Follow us! More ...

11.07.2007: Until Yuri A. Gagarin, who had made the first human step into space, 1.600 humans had made their step into the weightlessness. Our Zero-G Flights in Russia are follow the roots of Yuri A. Gagarin and show you completely inside of max. 15 parabolas 5 minutes of weightlessness. You will feel inside of each parabola 23 - 28 seconds, that your feets will leave the ground. Inside of this year, we have only 5 seats free at our last flight in October, but since today you will find also the new schedules for 2008. More ...

10.06.2007: The date of our tour "VIP at Star City and LiftOff of Soyuz" has rescheduled. The liftoff of the Soyuz TMA-11 will now take place on October 8th, 2007. So, our complete program will be from October 3rd until October 9th 2007. If you want to take apart at the addon program "Live Docking of the Soyuz TMA-11" at the Koroljov MCC (Mission Control Centre), you will stay 3 days longer to watch on October 10th the docking live on very big tv-screens. So, you have the possiblity to see all stages of "your mission". We have open only 3 places for the tour to the stars, and we can promise a tour of your lifetime! More ...

11.04.2007: Celebrate with us "Yuri's Night 2007" in Stuttgart, Germany. On April 12th, 1961 the brave soviet cosmonaut Yuri A. Gagarin blasted off into the sky of Kazhakhstan. He was flew onboard his spaceship "Wostok 1" into Earth orbit and circeled the Earth 1 time in 107 minutes, before he landed safety on ground. On April 12th 1981, 20 years after the first human spaceflight, the American Space Shuttle had opened the doors for reusable spaceships. Every April 12th, around the planet on 5 continents, Yuri Gagarin will be honored with several events, so called "Yuri's Night"! This year, the German "Yuri's night" will be at Stuttgart, and Space Travellers will give some prices away: Two winners can participate into 2008 at our voyage "VIP in Star City and Soyuz LiftOff at Baikonur! 04.04.2007: From now on, you can book your single seat inside the ZeroG airplane at USA: The flights will takes place in several cities of US and you will have a lot of dates inside of this year, where you can go into weightlessness! At Las Vegas/Nevada/USA there are 19(!) flights planned inside of this year, and you can combine your own operated USA holiday with this extra event! What a feeling.... More ...

11.03.2007: The MIG-29 "Fulcrum" is one of the best fighter jets of the world. After our long year experiences at the Zuchowsky airbase nearby Moscow, now we are proud to offer you the re-starting of the flight experiences with the MIG-29 "Fulcrum" at Niszhny Novgorod on the Sokol-Airbase. Fly with this extraordinary jet some special flight manouvres like loopings, rolls, Immelmann's or other aerobatics. It's only up to you, if you can handle this! Some special flight-missions are availible, also normal flights up to 30 minutes. 02.01.2007: Welcome into the new year 2007! In 2006 we travelled more as 20.000 kilometers around the planet. We are participated on the 'Emirates Millionaire Show 2006' inside the Emriates Palace Hotel at Abu Dhabi in December 2006, we are visited the facilities of 'Rocketplane Ltd.' at Oklahoma USA in summer 2006, and we organized a special event at Bremen (Germany) 'Meet an Cosmonaut' with an invitation of one of the experienced cosmonauts of Russia, Yuri Usachev (more then 550 days in space, 5 EVA's). News 2006

23.12.2006: We congratulate the crew members of the Shuttle "Discovery", what was landed on 23.32 MEZ on the Space Shuttle Runway at Cape Canaveral on December 22nd for a very successful mission. Also, we will give nice greetings to German astronaut Thomas Reiter, who has spend nearby 180 days into space during his ISS-Mission.

We wish all our friends, customers and businesspartners a very nice christmas and a very good "LiftOff" into the year 2007. We hoping, to develope into the next year as in the past a lot of new programs, to give you a satisfaction inside of your live. We are planning a lot of things for next year, we will visit the "Extravaganza Luxury Show" at Shanghai from June 2nd and 3rd, will open a space devision at Dubai/VAE and other things. Stay with us.

08.11.2006: Because the Zuchowsky-Airbase at Moscow region is closed for flights of civil nature, we cannot book the jet flights with the L-39 'Albatros', MIG-23 'Flogger', MIG-29 'Fulcrum', SU-30 'Flanker' and MIG-25 'Foxbat' (Edge of Space) at the moment there for you. How long the Airbase is closed for civil flights avoids our knowledge. Should you hear other statements, we can insure you, that these statements have no validity. No civil flights take place on not foreseeable time. Please, follow the tips within the performed programs under "prices and details". Nevertheless, the program offers are still on-line at the moment, until we have received a final decision. We have the possibility to fly on another Airbase in Niszhny Novgorod MIG-31 'Foxhound' and MIG-29 'Fulcrum'. The L-39 'Albatros' you can fly in California / USA, one of the highlights of our jet programs. Also you can climb up in South Africa with the 'Electric Lightning' in the highest altitudes. A MIG-29 program for the new location on the SOKOL-Airbase in Nishny Novgorod is at the moment in the development and is presented during the next days on our homepage.

12.10.2006: We are glad to be able to present to you a new jet program: Fly from Capetown (South Africa) now also in the heighest altitudes - aboard an 'English Electric Lightning'! Experience an 'Edge of Space Flight' in an altitude between 22 and 23 kilometers! The 'Electric Lightning' takes you with making Mach 2.2 on altitude, and if you liked it, you can also put up a new speed-steep path record: 'Electric Lightning' has a steep path rate of 50,000 feet per minute! You will accompany the best pilots on your way, and you also experience beside 'Edge of Space Flight' a uniqueness: 'Electric Lightning' is the onliest ultrasound-fight jet of the world with which you sit in a double cockpit side by side! 28.09.2006: It was restricted so far, and jet enthusiasts had to wait for it very much long time, but now it comes to reality: We are glad about to offer you one of the onliest jet airplanes of the world for 'Edge of Space Flight' - the MIG-31 'Foxhound'! MIG-31 is the official successor of the MIG-25 'Foxbat' and distinguishes itself by better maneuverings, better flight characteristics as well as lower fuel costs. The flight in MIG-31 is possible only since a few days before, and we kidnap you with pleasure on an airbase near the city of Nizhny Novgorod in Russia, the hometown of Maxim Gorky! 02.06.2006: New dates for Zero-G Flights in Florida for August and September, 2006. From fort Lauderdale/USA in Florida you will start aboard a Boeing B-727/200, and you become after half an hour of flight time weightlessly about the Gulf of Mexico! It is new now also, that some flights not only start from Ft. Lauderdale, but also from the legendary "Space Shuttle Landing Facility" at Cape Kennedy. 22.05.2006: By changes in the management of the Zuchowsky-Airbase, from where we allow to begin our jet flights with L-39, MIG-23, MIG-29, SU-27/30 and MIG-25, the shopping conditions have changed. As reasons the raised energy costs are declared. Unfortunately, we felt constrained to raise the prices of our very much popular jet experiences. In own thing we point to the fact which our adventures with the Russian fight jets cannot be sold about price. We also position ourselves to go not into a prizefighting with our competitors. However, our customers also know the fact, that with us absolute quality and security with the best price / achievement relation stands in the foreground. An experience tour with us to Russia with a flight in a jet airplane belongs to the 'highest' and 'fastest' experiences which there are worldwide. We are glad about it, if we can greet you soon in our "hall of fame" of the jet pilots. And as a goodie you still receive a unique surprise present which you still allow to think back along timeto your jet experience.

25.03.2006: Space Travellers does a great step: Maybe you have already discovered our new flag on top in the menu: Since 24.03.2006 we are also represented in Japan and offer our adventures and services about our new website 'Space Travellers Japan' in English language at the absolutely interesting market of Japan. Space Travellers Japan is escorted from Ms. Misuzu Onuki from Tokyo, who is resident since 1987 in the space branch, in particular of the Japanese. 23.03.2006: The next liftoff mission "Soyuz TMA-9" with which also Japanese Space tourist Daisuke Enomoto (Japan) takes part, has been determined to the 14.09.2006 at Baykonur. Our very experienced-rich trip " VIP in star City and Liftoff Soyuz in Baykonur" became therefore for the period from 09.09.2006 till the 15.09.2006. The trip inside the Russian cosmonautics with sightseeings at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre, located at Star City nearby Moscow and the liftoff of the Soyuz mission at Baykonur is an absolute highlight, which itself enthusiast should not allow to escape! 22.03.2006: The next Space Shuttle liftoff STS 121 Discovery was moved from May, 2006 in July, 2006. So, the liftoff of the Space Shuttles "Discovery" with the German ESA astronaut Thomas Reiter will be delayed aboard therefore and gives us the possibility to keep still some spaces with the planned trip. Up to now 12 persons have announced have contacted who would like to be present with pleasure at the liftoff as well and would like to take part in the very exclusive program. For example: Complete price of our special MIG-25 'Edge of Space Flight'-Adventure is now 14.300,00 Euro (Old price: 15.200,00 Euro). In addition, you will find now the only Jet-Flight day prices in the details of our Jet-Flight programs (incl. Airbase program, transportation, guide, inflight videos, personal certificate, visasupport).

17.12.2005: In the new year 2006 we will be the first corporation in Europe, who is able to offer flights with the German-English "Alpha Jet". A flight in this famous jet is a absolutely fantastic ride and you can have the experience of your life! We combine this Jet-Fighter Program with a fantastic VIP-Tour at the location of Miramar, inside the Top Gun Fighter School and a half day visit onboard and American Aircraft-Carrier, located at San Diego! 14.09.2005: From the 26.09. - 05.10.2005 is our team with an special international travel group in Star City/Russia and in Baikonur/Kazakhstan to be present at the start of Soyuz TMA 7 with the International Space Station expedition crew 12 (William McArthur-USA, Valeri Tokarev-RUS and the American Space tourist Greg Olsen) on the 10/1/2005. Also we will visit the MCC Koroljov (Mission Control Centre). After this tour there are reports of experience, pictures and videos on our sides.

15.08.2005: Shortly we can offer a new, singular experience to you: Fly with the most modern L-39 'Albatros' jet "Wild Child" through the Grand Canyon and in the low-altitude flights over the Mojawe desert in California/USA.
