At first, you will feel the great Russian hospitality in Star City, then walk with us on the steps of the journey of the Russian space history from the past, into present and out into the future. You visit the different trainings facilities of the GCTC (Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre) at Russian Star City. Here, Russians, Americans, Europeans and Japanese cosmonauts and astronauts train for their flight into the universe, what will start at the Russian cosmodrome "Baikonur" in Kazhakhztan. From this cosmodrome, the first satellite of the World - "Sputnik" was launched (1957), and since the first human space flight of Yuri A. Gagarin (12. April 1961), from this port there were over 1.200 spacecrafts launched into the universe.

Soyuz TMA-12 blasts of to the Sky - Baikonur April 2008Then, the absolute high point of your journey: the start of a manned mission to the International Space Station ISS. 2 or 3 daring cosmonauts and astronauts from different nations go on board a Soyuz TMA, and within 8 minutes they are with their space craft in Earth orbit. 2 days later they will dock with the ISS. You will see the lift off preperations, and watch the liftoff in a distance of approx. 2.000 meters beside the powerful Soyuz rocket. Nowhere else in the world, you can see a liftoff of an spacecraft nearer then here.

Specialists from space technology and history will accompany you around the clock on your trip. Locally specialists are beside you, who will answer you the difficult questions.

This tour is unique and shows you the human spaceflight with a very special touch. You are standing (as an example) only 5 meters in distance from the Soyuz rocket, if the great doors of the Soyuz integration hall at Baykonur will open and the Soyuz rocket will be transportet on a train to the Gagarinksy launchpad, what is 2 kilometres in distance. You are at place during the press-conferences with the primary and backup crew and you will see the launchpads of the Energia rocket and the space shuttle Buran. At the day of the liftoff, you are in 2 kilometres in distance, when the Soyuz rocket blasts off and headed to the International Space Station ISS!

You will never forget in your life this experience!
