North Chile accommodates some of the best telescope locations on the world. Among them the two largest and most modern observatories of the ESO (European Southern Observatory) ' La Silla ' and ' Cerro Paranal ' with the VLT (Very Large Telescope). Scientists from the whole world investigate here with the most modern devices of the astronomy our surrounding universe. The singular altitude, absolutely dry climate, stably laminated high-pressure and a situation faraway of each light and air-dust permit these locations to very singular observation conditions.

The scientists look here with ultramodern sky devices into the 'child room' of the universe and try to find some secrets.
