The hunter becomes the hunted in the azure skies above the scenic Mojave Desert when you book our Dog Fight training package.
Imagine yourself in the cockpit of the L-39C‚ Albatross' jet aircraft. The heat in California has gone as you now sit strapped down in the comfort of an air-conditioned jet cockpit. Your pilot communicates with you over the radio, letting you know it’s “GO TIME!” and slowly he rolls the jet along the taxi-way into the start position. You listen to the radio traffic with the tower and you feel the powerful force of the engines rumbling as your pilot lets off the brakes and you are blasting down the runway… and you’re airborne!
But this is no normal flight… you are on a mission – kill or be killed (even if only hypothetically in training mode). You and your pilot are combat comrades with the task to locate your “enemy” in the sky and to take back the air space he has infiltrated!
At speeds of over 400 miles per hour you climb into the sky. You take command and steer the L-39 ‘Albatross’ (as you were trained to do in two training flights before). You know how to read the radar, weapon systems, navigation systems, radio beacons, and flight controls from hours of training you spent in the flight simulator.
After 5 minutes of steep climb, you bring the jet to its normal flight altitude of 15,000 feet and assess your surroundings. The radar shows no foreign aircraft in the six miles of airspace around you, and you relax… you feel “safe.” But you know this feeling of security is only fleeting, as you’re following the orders of the Commander in Chief to serve and protect. This is your territory, your responsibility, your mission.
Somewhere there outside the enemy is lurking. You can feel his presence… your gut is telling you he’s out there even the highly sensitive electronic systems of your Albatross jet tell you there is nothing out there to fear. You are on duty, ever watchful… there will be no surprises for you, today!
Suddenly, you hear the voice of your pilot: “Bogey coming it at 3 o’clock! Evasive maneuvers! Rise! Rise!”
You pull the stick upwards in an evasive maneuver and the Albatross responds. You start to rise, almost vertically. Your radar tags the other jet approaching, he’s coming in low and fast. Your mind registers the need to get your jet into a position where you have the advantage. Your muscles react and the jet takes the order in stride. This is a matter of instinct and survival!
You’re up at about 30,000 feet, and you level out, you check the radar, and there he is… on your tail! The bogey has made you and it’s time to pull out all the stops! It’s Top Gun time and you’re at the controls!
You hear the voice of your pilot: “Initiate immediate evasive action!” You tip the jet to the left and begin to dive. Your "opponent" has not counted on this maneuver, and he passes right over him. Now you have the advantage to come up on his tail.
In no time, you’ve got a visual on him and you’ve got the advantage. You know he’s looking for you… but in all the wrong places. Is he going to bug out on you, or are you going to have to show him who is boss? Your forefinger flips the switch on the weapons system, and the ready light comes on.
He’s made you! He’s diving ahead of you and you’re on him. You push the stick forward and dive behind him. He’s trying to shake you, but no dice! You’re a trained professional and this one isn’t going to get away! The canyons in the Mojave Desert are coming up fast below you. He’s going to have to pull out soon, or he’s toast on the desert floor. Your trigger-finger is hot and ready…

As the only foreign-based provider of this real-world opportunity, we can arrange for you to train an entire day with your jet, so that you can take the controls in real combat maneuvers and participate in a “Dog Fight” scenario in an L-39C Albatross jet over the deserts of California.
Because of the nature of this mission, the program requires two participants. You can participate with a friend, or you can book your flight program at the same time as another single participant.
"Combat Flights" are the wildest adventure which we have to offer, and are not for the faint-of-heart. You must be in good health and have a health certificate from your doctor, including a recent ECG, stating that you are fit for this mission.
The day of the flight experience, you and your fellow flight-comrade will be picked up from your hotel in the morning. The flights are actual "Dogfights" and therefore consist of a whole-day adventure, including of a total of 3 flights. Your flight experience will be professionally video taped (so you can prove “you were there”) by two strategically place lipstick cameras in the cockpit. You’ll look snappy in your custom-made, personal, Nomex flig
ht suit, complete with name patch and squadron patches, which is yours to keep. You will also receive souvenir T-shirts and a squadron medal, as mementos of the adventure of a life time!
